Some can sing, some are greeters, some work with environmental stewardship, some with outreach, but all of us have gifts to offer. Adult Forum

The Adult Forum is each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in our Jackson Kemper Room located in our basement. Fr. Rob, parishioners and special guests share information on various topics. Email for more information.

Children’s Nursery

Offered during our Sunday 10:30 a.m. service for ages up to 5 years old. Email for more information

Children’s Sunday School

Offered during our Sunday 10:30 a.m. service for ages kindergarten to fifth grade. The children rejoin their family to partake in communion. Email for more information

Middle and High School Youth Group

Meets every Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.in our parish hall fall thru spring. Email for more information.

Parish Library

4,000 volumes and CDs on topics including reference materials, commentaries and theology of Christianity and the church, as well as novels and mysteries with connections to the Episcopal Church or history of Christianity. Explore our online catalog. The library is open by appointment. Email for more information.

Vacation Bible School

Children gather at the church for one week in the summer to learn about the Christian life, enjoy snacks, make crafts, and have fun. Email for more information.

BackSnack

Serves Lawrence elementary schools to provide food to students identified by the schools as chronically hungry. Email for more information.

Kansas to Kenya (K2K)

Led by the Diocese of Kansas. K2K conducts health education programs, supports a safe house for women, funds construction projects and dental clinics, and supports a number of other initiatives directed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Email for more information.

Lawrence Habitat for Humanity

Builds simple, decent, affordable houses for those in need. Trinity partners with Lawrence Habitat for Humanity as one of its Covenant Churches. Email for more information.

Lawrence Interfaith Refugee and Immigrant Ministry (LIRIM)

Strives to create a welcoming community for refugees and immigrants and to increase awareness about immigrants and refugees through faith-based community action. Email for more information.

Ploughman's Lunch and Bake Sale

An annual fundraising event to which the whole community is invited. Proceeds from the lunch and bake sale go to a number of nonprofit social services in Lawrence. Email for more information.

Trinity Environmental Stewardship Team (TEST)

Provides information, examples, and opportunities to support the conviction that God calls everyone to be good stewards of the earth. Check out our flyer. Email for more information.

Trinity Interfaith Food Pantry

Provides food for people in Douglas County who are food insecure. 50+ volunteers serve with the food pantry which is open two days each week. Email for more information.

Trinity Treasures

A group of women who gather weekly to use their skills individually to create knitted, crocheted, sewn or other handmade items for sale at the annual Ploughman's Lunch. Proceeds from the sale benefit a number of nonprofit social services in Douglas County. Email for more information.

Anchor Women

A community of women of various ages and backgrounds who gather monthly to share thoughts, stories, fun and laughter Tuesday evenings. Email for more information..

Friendship Circle

A social group that includes widows, widowers, divorcees, singles, as well as those who are seeking friendship from Trinitarians. The Circle meets Wednesdays afternoons over Zoom and offers numerous social opportunities throughout the year. Email for more information..

Women's Bible Study

An ecumenical group of women who gather weekly to study books of the Bible. Our group meets Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in our Parish library Email for more information..

Holy Stir-It

On hold at this time. Normally a monthly gathering centered on food and spirits that provides an opportunity for fellowship among the men at Trinity. It is also an opportunity to invite others to be introduced to Trinity's community of faith. Email for more information..

Pump 'n' Pray

A men's group that meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 6:35 a.m. for prayer and an exercise program. Email for more information..

Acolytes

Assist in Sunday worship services at the altar. Email for more information..

Altar Flower Guild

Arranges flowers for the altar every Sunday, with a special effort to decorate the altar and the church for the Christmas and Easter seasons. Email for more information..

Altar Guild

An essential lay ministry that prepares the sanctuary for worship, and maintains and cares for the sacred vessels, altar linens, and vestments under the guidance and direction of the rector. Email for more information..

Lectors, Intercessors, and Chalice Bearers

Assist in specific aspects of Sunday morning worship. Email for more information..

Music Ministry

Includes the musical offerings of the church organist and the choir, which lead the congregation in singing hymns and psalms, and provide an anthem during the offertory. Email for more information..

Ushers

Serve on Sunday mornings, welcoming people as they enter and helping people to find seats in the sanctuary. They also help to collect the offering. Email for more information..
