If you are one of the lucky few who have seen pictures of Sheryl Poole’s Christmas Village, aka “Poolesville,” you should be particularly amazed that she could get any Christmas decorating done at all given all the work that happens as the church approaches the holiday, including two bulletins for Sunday, another two for Christmas Eve, and a fifth one for Christmas Day (and because she likes to get ahead of things, the one for December 30 is also completed).
And Sheryl is just one of the many staff whose hard work makes the celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord special. Whether it is Lesson and Carols, the Christmas Pageant, or the many events that have happened this Advent Season, I hope you will share with me in thanking Trinity’s staff for the gift of their ministry.
I would be remiss to not also take this moment to thank our volunteers whose dedication and hard work fill our choirs, help children get into costumes, and prepare our church for the hundreds of people who will be worshipping with us in the week to come. We cannot do this without you.
Yours in Christ,
