HAPPY NEW YEAR---HAPPY EPIPHANY!

Our brand- new calendar year has just begun and the “Three Lords are

Leaping” on the twelfth day of Christmas in this familiar song. These

three wise men, led by star- light, made manifest our Christ so all the

world might rejoice in that One True Light. The following Native

American Song captures the passage of time and the joy of light,

pointing the way to deeper meanings.

“ All winter long behind every thunder, guess what we heard?

Behind every thunder—the song of a bird—a trumpeting bird. All

winter long beneath every snowing guess what we saw? Beneath every

snowing-- a thaw, and a greening and growing. Where did we run

beyond the gate and guardsman? Guess if you can! All winter long we

Earth Steward Action: Take time this week to meditate on the faith of
