A Prayer for Thanksgiving

This is a prayer for joy in God’s creation from the Book of Common Prayer:

O Heavenly Father, who hast filled the world with beauty; open, we beseech thee, our eyes to behold they gracious hand in all thy works; that rejoicing in thy whole creation, we may learn to serve thee with gladness; for the sake of him by whom all things were made, thy Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

And don't forget to support Episcopal Relief and Development's efforts for Haiti through the Alternative Christmas Market. A person from TEST will be in the Parish Hall between services and after the 10:30 a.m. service through Dec. 19. Or you can just send a check to Trinity – be sure to put E.R.D. in the subject line.

Earth Steward Actions:

Pray for our nation in the stewardship of all God’s gifts of creation and for our steadfast progress in that goal.

Pray for the people of Haiti and for political will to help poor nations recover from natural disasters made worse because of climate change.
