Celebrate Earth Day Every Day

April is a lovely month and a delightful time of the year to celebrate Earth Day. However, we know that our “Mother Earth” needs constant care and protection every day of the year. To help us remain accountable for our part in creation care every day, use the letters E A R T H (hold up your hand, if it helps).

E — stands for educating yourself and others about earth’s beauty and diversity, as well as issues that threaten Earth.

A — stands for actions that protect Earth’s sustainability

R — stands for relating to others (family, community and beyond), working together to help protect Earth.

T — stands for talking to our policymakers (local to international) to ensure good and fair regulations to protect the Earth.

 H — stands for hope-filled habits that keep Creation Care in mind as well as helping hands in disasters and unjust situations.

Earth Steward Action: Pray for folks suffering from damaging floods and consider donating to the Red Cross.
