TEST TIDBITS: ACT TO HELP WITH DISASTERS
Last August, deadly fires swept through Maui, killing over 100 people and displacing thousands. Episcopal Relief & Development Disaster Fund, along with the Diocese of Hawaii and local organizations continue to provide aid and temporary housing. 2023 Earthquake victims in Turkiye, Seria and Morocco still need aid. By working with community partners, churches and other aid groups, ERD is helping thousands recover. Along with the ACT Alliance and The Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, ERD aids refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine. Working with the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem , they aid those displaced and aid the Al Ahli Hospital in the West Bank. Looming on the horizon is the threat of polio.
